The city is always smiling.

THE SMILING BROADCAST STATION is a surreal psychological horror adventure where you work the night shift at a local television station responsible for emotionally synchronizing an entire city through its broadcasts.

The weather is warm. The streets are peaceful. Nobody gets angry.

And nobody stops smiling.

As the station’s newest temporary engineer, your job is to maintain the nightly broadcasts, monitor emotional synchronization levels, and keep the city stable through carefully controlled programming.

But the longer you stay, the more unnatural the city becomes.

Citizens repeat identical greetings. Applause loops too perfectly. Smiles linger half a second too long. The weather presenter begins speaking directly through the sky itself. And eventually, the station starts preparing you to become the next host.

A host never leaves the broadcast.

⚠️ Warning:
The demo version only shows the earliest stages of synchronization.
The Full Version becomes far more psychologically oppressive and emotionally disturbing as the city begins actively trying to absorb the player into its endless “perfect morning.” Later sections contain identity erosion, emotional manipulation, forced conformity themes, meta narrative horror, and increasingly invasive broadcast corruption.

도시는 항상 웃고 있습니다.

THE SMILING BROADCAST STATION은 방송을 통해 도시 전체의 감정을 동기화시키는 지역 방송국에서 야간 엔지니어로 근무하게 되는 초현실 심리 공포 어드벤처 게임입니다.

날씨는 따뜻하고, 거리는 평화롭고, 사람들은 화내지 않습니다.

그리고 아무도 웃음을 멈추지 않습니다.

플레이어는 새로 채용된 야간 방송 엔지니어로서 방송 송출을 유지하고, 시민들의 감정 동기화 상태를 모니터링하며, 도시 전체를 “행복한 상태”로 유지해야 합니다.

하지만 방송국에 오래 머무를수록 도시의 미소는 점점 부자연스러워집니다.

시민들은 완전히 똑같은 인사를 반복하고, 박수 소리는 기계처럼 동기화되며, 웃음은 0.5초 정도 더 오래 유지됩니다. 날씨 캐스터는 하늘 자체를 통해 말을 걸기 시작하고, 방송국은 플레이어를 다음 진행자로 만들 준비를 시작합니다.

진행자는 방송을 떠날 수 없습니다.
